In December 2011, Prestige London announced a partnership with Rocket Gardens, a supplier of organic vegetable and herb plants to start supporting schools across the country with grow-your-own kitchen gardens.
For the second year running Sodexo UK has retained its place in the ‘Gold’ band of the Business in the Community Corporate Responsibility Index. The Corporate Responsibility Index is a voluntary test which challenges and supports large organisations to manage and integrate responsible business practice. The Index is the leading UK benchmark for responsible business practice and this is the eighth consecutive year that Sodexo has been listed in the 100 leading companies for corporate responsibility – no mean achievement!
Sodexo Prestige takes the notion of women having equal opportunities in the work place very seriously and has set up an employee network group known as ‘Women Work’. The network has the key points of aiming to maximise the participation of women in leadership roles and removing barriers to women’s progression. By fulfilling these aims Prestige hopes to improve the bottom line and the performance of the business.
